Our beautiful little Violet was born on December 18th. After a LONG labor, she came into the world at 4:54 am weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 inches long. Steven and I couldn’t be more blessed and happy! We are so thankful for all the love, support, gifts, visits, meals, and prayers from everyone.
At the bottom of this post are two slideshows of photos of our little love. The first is of the images I took of her once we got home and the second is just for fun of quick ones from our phones. I’m learning its a little easier to capture quick moments with the phone over running to get out the camera every time (they aren’t always the greatest in quality, but I’m thankful to have them). I hope you enjoy the images we’re sharing, be sure to come back because there will be more! We’re in for a whole new adventure with Violet and we couldn’t be more excited about it!
This picture melts my heart. Steven was looking at her and said “I think we should have 150 more.” That’s not something a new mother necessarily wants to hear after a 36 hour labor, but it was still adorable. I told him that he may have to settle with 3 or 4, he then brought his number down to 15. We’ll see who wins.
Now here are the professional camera images I have of this little beauty.
Oh the baby toes!
And her eyes!!
And this face! While it may not the be sweetest look she’s given me, I’m still in love with it. She gives me this look a lot, maybe the camera has been out a little too much for her taste. With a mama as a photographer, she needs to get used to it.
Here’s the first slide show.
Here are the iPhone pictures from the past few weeks that we wanted to share.
